Draft for revision of German ElektroG has been notified

The draft bill by the Germany Ministry of Environement for the revision of Germany's law on the put to market, take back and sound disposal of electrical and electronic waste (so called "ElektroG") has been notified through Brussels today, November 20th 2014 and is thus one step closer to its realization.
For the duration of three months, until February 23th 2015, the draft bill is now banned for being accepted by the German Government while the Commision and the member states may give their feedback.
The revision is due since the EU passed a directive on WEEE on August 13th 2013 that enforces all member states to amend their legislation accordingly.
